The Department of Sociology and Interdisciplinary Social Sciences (SISS) at San Jos State University (SJSU) invites applications from scholars in the areas of Science, Knowledge, and Technology Studies (SKAT) and Sociology of Science and Technology Studies (STS). Candidates are expected to teach and develop courses in their area of specialty and core sociology topics. The ideal candidate will have a strong research agenda focusing on the societal impacts of emerging technologies and scientific knowledge.
