PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Assists with the implementation of the Supply Chain Process, primarily focused on the Sourcing and Procurement of Services from Third-Party Suppliers across Exelon.

Assists with the implementation of the Supply Chain Process, primarily focused on the Sourcing and Procurement of Services from Third-Party Suppliers across Exelon.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Assist with activities that successfully implement the Supply Chain Process. (10%)



  • Assist with activities that successfully implement the Supply Chain Process. Support quality and cost objectives by implementing strategies that ensure the total cost of materials and services purchased have considerable value and minimize risk. Activities include: creating and managing RFP's, bid analysis, facilitating Q&A between suppliers and business partners during a bid event, entering results of sourcing initiatives in the associated databases, and managing the departmental documents/records/files in data retention databases. (25%)



  • Assist Category Managers with the issuance, management, and maintenance of contracts and purchase orders related to the procurement of Services across the enterprise. (50%)



  • Assist with the day to day process resolution including: un-enterable invoices, supplier changes and adds, unit of measure changes, economies of scale identification and changes. (5%)



  • Assist with the processes that monitor and manage supplier relationships, and performance oversight. (5%)



  • Support the Business Units' Emergency Response activities as assigned




JOB SCOPE


  • Assist with the implementation of sourcing activities related to the purchase of materials or services.



  • Assist and support the Implementation of Strategic Sourcing objectives and alliance partnerships to ensure consistent quality of material and timely delivery, price savings, and overall supply chain improvements.



  • Assist maintaining a qualified supplier pool is available.



  • Assist the Implementation of supplier performance monitoring and associated performance improvement initiatives.



Qualifications




MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree in business or related field or High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
