Role:

This position is to assemble, test and troubleshoot electrical assemblies and components.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Reading, understanding of electrical schematics
  • Cable and wire harness assembly
  • Testing & Repairing Printed Circuit Assemblies.
  • Soldering Surface Mount & Through Hole components
  • Working with Static Sensitive components
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Knowledge of Analog & Digital circuits
  • Knowledge of Electromechanical components
  • Strong Digital Multi-Meter skills
  • Basic Oscilloscope Skills
  • Basic knowledge of High Voltage safety
  • Computer skills (excel, word, and intranet)
  • Strong time management, organization skills, and enthusiasm required
  • Effective listening and communication skills required
  • Must be a self-starter with a willingness to learn new skills
  • Must be team oriented
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • College or Trade specific training relevant to the industry preferred
  • 1 +years related experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret written documents
  • Ability to interpret technical charts and drawings
  • Ability to respond in a professional manner to common inquiries
  • Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT - work is performed in a variety of industrial settings some of which may include exposure to load noises, fumes, and heavy equipment.

Wage: $23.00-$25.00/hr
