Aircraft Component Technician, Lead - Military Veterans

A well established and growing aviation company seeking a lead aircraft bench technician with 145 Repair Station experience.


Job Description:



  • Lead a small team of technicians and manage their work flow

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, overhaul and test aircraft components

  • Clearly and accurately document findings on findings report and order parts

  • Use measuring and test equipment to determine condition of parts

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times

  • Understand and follow the operating procedures normally found within a 145 Repair Station

  • Other duties and responsibilities as required and deemed necessary by management



Qualifications:



  • Minimum 2 years bench experience in inspection, teardown, assembly, and testing of aircraft components

  • A&P license is desired but not required

  • Able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally

  • General Computer skills

  • Able to read, understand and follow technical data (i.e. Component Maintenance Manual)

  • Ability to use standard equipment normally found in a Repair Station

  • Self-Starter and ability to work independently and with others

  • Must own hand tools required to perform assigned tasks

  • Knowledge and experienced in safely working with hand and power tools

  • Willing to work extended hours as required to meet customer requirements and needs of the facility



Physical Demands:



  • Able to safely lift 50 lbs, and able to bend and lift objects above their head.

  • Must have physical ability to safely perform the essential functions of the assigned position.








Job Type: Full-time





Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
