Field Service Technician - Military Veterans

We are seeking a driven, independent and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Field Service Technician.

We specialize in frozen dessert, beverage and high-capacity cooking equipment. Our customer-first mentality, top-notch service response time and first-time fix rate are the reasons why we are seen as an industry leader and are relied upon by the world’s largest restaurant chains and locally owned businesses alike.

Our facility is located in Norwood, Massachusetts and we are looking to build our Service Team with positions open in our five state territory: Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. We are seeking independent and reliable candidates that take pride in their work to maintain the level of service our customers have come to expect from TNE.

Your Responsibilities:<
- Perform reactive service on a variety of specialty food service equipment
- Provide best-in-class customer service
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Install and train customers on the operation and maintenance of their equipment
- Accurately complete service work orders on electronic devices following each service event
- Embrace a team attitude with an emphasis on communication, honesty and integrity
- Self-starter and capable of working with minimal oversight
- Maintain assigned company property in accordance with company guidelines
- Travel to customer locations within TNE territory

Qualifications and Skills:
Preferred (but not necessary) Certifications & Experience:
- EPA Section 608 Certification – Type 1
- Experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, mechanical or electrical fields
- Experience or familiarity with Taylor, Broaster, FlavorBurst, Marco Beverage Systems, or competitive lines of equipment
- Experience or familiarity with Middleby Manufacturing Lines including Blodgett, Pitco, TurboChef, Concordia, SouthBend, Middleby Marshall or similar equipment brands
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented with a commitment to punctuality
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal
- Internally motivated, driven with a strong work ethic and sense of urgency
- High School diploma or GED
- Motor vehicle history and driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as part of a limited rotation schedule

Travel Requirements:
- Local travel is required daily
- Overnight travel may be required though typically no more than 2-3 days in length

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to:
- Lift heavy components, weighing up to 85 lbs
- Work in squatted/kneeling position at times
