A s part of John Deere's Environmental team, our Environmental Interns candidates will assist with the implementation of the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Environmental Programs that impact a manufacturing facility and support the environmental compliance aspects of the factory.

Some examples of activities that can be performed:


  • Execute facility inspections to review compliance with environmental regulations and EMS requirements

  • Take ownership of environmental program: stormwater, chemical management, wastewater, waste, etc.

  • Explore and implement waste, energy or water reduction projects.

  • Explore and implement environmental risk reduction projects

  • Develop Power BI Dashboard or Power Apps

What Skills You Need

  • Pursuing a Bachelors or Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

  • Minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale required.

  • Project management experience.

  • Basic knowledge of engineering statics and introductory knowledge of environmental regulations.

  • Skill in using Microsoft Power BI or related tools.
