Unique Skills:

We are looking for students who are available for Summer 2025 for a full-time internship opportunity. You must be able to work full time in-person for at least 12 weeks in Summer 2025.


  • May/June 2025 - August/September 2025

  • Position will be posted until 11/3/2024. Interviews will be on-going.


Gulfstream Engineering interns in Innovation, Engineering and Flight are an integral part of the engineering staff, and work on projects that are both technically challenging and educationally stimulating.

We are looking for all levels of educational experience, from undergraduate and masters to PhD candidates who are seeking professional experience in a state-of- the- art engineering environment.

This is a paid internship. If are looking to gain professional experience and are passionate about aviation and engineering, you will be intrigued by the opportunities we give interns across almost 40 different departments that support Innovation, Engineering, and Flight.

Innovation, Engineering & Flight offers opportunities in projects areas such as flight sciences, stress, structures, lab test, systems, flight test, service, avionics, compliance, and more.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to engineering staff and contribute by completing discrete engineering tasks on schedule.
  • Using company procedures, apply engineering knowledge to resolve aircraft related issues.
  • Support component and full-scale aircraft prototype and test activities during the lifecycle of Gulfstream products.
  • Generate and analyze miscellaneous technical test data.
  • Interface with various internal organizations such as Production Engineering, Completions Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Product Support and Procurement as well as external suppliers.
  • Develop knowledge of application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in assigned field of expertise.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelors degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:

    • Aerospace Engineering

    • Mechanical Engineering

    • Electrical Engineering

    • Materials Engineering (Material Science)

    • Computer Engineering

    • Human Factors

    • Systems Engineering

    • Industrial Engineering (Manufacturing)

    • Industrial & Systems Engineering

    • Civil Engineering

    • Engineering

    • Instrumentation Engineering




  • To be considered for a Summer 2025 internship, applicants must plan to graduate from their current academic program any time after August 2025 or plan to continue their education in Summer or Fall 2025 (i.e. bachelors to masters).
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application is required and must be listed on the submitted resume. GPA must remain above a 3.0 through the Spring semester for Summer 2025 internship.

    • Resumes without a GPA will not be considered.

    • Transcripts will be checked, and we do not average transfer credits from one institution to another.

    • Freshman, please list high school GPA.

    • Masters students without GPA, please list bachelors GPA.


  • Ability to convey technical concepts in both written and verbal formats
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Display maturity and a high level of professionalism
  • Proven leadership skills on-campus or in a previous work atmosphere
  • Previous internship experience a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work for the duration of the internship
  • Must be available to work at least 40 hours per week, for at least 12 weeks in-person during the months of May/June - August/September 2025
