Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Scheduler to join our team! In this role you will work on, and contribute to, complex infrastructure deliverables.

What You'll Be Doing:


  • You will be responsible for project planning and scheduling, cost  estimating and monitoring, performance measurement and reporting, and quality of documents review. 

  • Cost estimating tasks shall be performed consistent with client and Parsons standards.

  • Understand and follow procedures and guidelines that mitigate scheduling risk

  •  Provide  controls  guidance  and  consultation  for  client and stakeholders and contractors

  • Report on “Plan vs. Actual” performance of contractors using “Commodity and Production Curves”

  • Ensure timely responses to client and external informational requests

  • Track timely responses of all stakeholders to maintain CIP schedule and budget  

  • Provide formal input to facilitate strategic decision making

  • Control  project  scope  including  change  management  and issuance of change orders

  • Follow “Dispute Resolution Plan” that identifies an efficient and organized  escalation  procedure  to  resolve  program  related issues for capital projects.

  • What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Scheduler must have five (5) years of experience managing program / project controls of at least two (2) projects of $50 Million or greater in leadership and management roles. 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field (or equivalent work experience) and typically 12+ years of experience in a lower-level Project Controls position is required, as well as some experience in a leadership capacity.

  • Requires basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or a related field. Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls Software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Proven leadership capabilities, as well as familiarity with industry practices is a plus.

Salary Range: 

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
