Job Summary
Medline Industries, LP is the leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices, and home care/hospice settings.
Due to continued growth, we are in need of a Supply Chain Clerk Lead to join our team for a Monday- Friday, 5am-1:30pm schedule. Additional hours/days may be required.
The Supply Chain Clerk Lead is an integral part of our team's success. Our Leads perform all duties of the Supply Chain Clerk and act as backup to the Supervisor as necessary. Act as a liaison between various business units to ensure success of customer relationship.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist in organizing staff and workload to meet or exceed productivity performance standards. Provide functional supervision to team members in the absence of Supervisor.
- May assist in the training of associates at assigned location.
- Under the direction of the supervisor, facilitates team meetings, assist with employee reviews and provide feedback, review site employee errors and trains, coaches and provides day to day direction and training to eliminate potential errors.
- At the direction of the supervisor, may be tasks with gathering data to support the maintenance of records including time cards/sheets, training data, etc.
- Embrace KPI's, track trends and best practices implemented by supervisor.
- Direct the workflow of team in support of customer needs and best practices standards.
- Perform all duties of the Supply Chain Clerk and act as backup as necessary.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 1 year experience as a Supply Chain Clerk/Material Handler.
- Must be able to read and communicate in English. Must have basic math skills (addition/subtraction) and strong interpersonal/relationship building skills. Must have a high sense of urgency and be able to meet the physical requirements of the position.
- Previous experience with SAP and Catalyst or another inventory management system. Pro-track experience.
