Pay Range: $20/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Shifts: 36 hrs./wk. (7am -7pm and 7pm - 7am). Mon-Wed day/night OR Fri-Sun day/night

MUST BE FLEXIBLE FOR ALL SHIFTS

OPPORTUNITIES FOR ADDITIONAL HOURS ON THURSDAYS

POSITION SUMMARY INFORMATION: DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS

Duties/Responsibilities:

Some of your duties may include:

• Monitoring premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.


• Answering alarms and investigating disturbances.


• Patrolling industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of property and personnel.


• Monitoring and authorizing entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.


• Writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.


• Calling police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.


• Circulating among visitors, patrons, or employees to preserve order and protect property.


• Warning persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehending or evicting violators from premises.


• Operating detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.

Required Education, Certifications, Licenses, and Experience:

• Must possess a high school education or equivalent (GED)


• Must be able to pass extensive preemployment screening process


• Must be fluent in Spanish and English


• Must possess IL PERC Security License


• One (1) year of Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience preferred

Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.

Physical Requirements:

Employees may be required to remain in a stationary position, stand, push, pull, climb, kneel, crawl, balance, squat, bend, and reach during shifts. Employees may be also required to use gear to move items around, including, but not limited to, carts and dollies. Employees may also be occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 49 pounds.
