Edge Pest Control, a trusted company of the Rollins Family of Brands, is rapidly expanding and we are searching for our next District Sales Manager in the Chicagoland District (ranging from Schaumburg to Lake Barrington, Illinois).  This position offers full-time employment all year round and uncapped commissions!

  • Competitive salary plus uncapped sales commissions—base salary for position is $55,000 to $65,000 annually and the potential to earn $90,000 to $110,000 with commission / bonuses;

Responsibilities

Edge Pest Control is a premier provider of pest control solutions in the Chicago area.  In 2024 Edge partnered with OPC to bring two well-respected brands together for excellence in Pest Services in the Rollins Family of Brands. We protect more than just homes and businesses. Homeowners know us as the local brand to get the job done and businesses know us as the local brand that will protect their investments.  Getting the job done with great service is what we’re all about. We have built our reputation on our company’s belief of putting the customer experience first and the District Sales Manager is key to delivering on this purpose.    This position will be our coach and leader in the field to develop outside sales staff through coaching and ride alongs, drive sales and productivity in the Chicagoland region.  

 

You will…  


  • train and develop a sales team and perform ride alongs with outside sales staff regularly;

  • work in partnership with Branch Managers on hiring and staffing an outside sales team for the district and align sales processes;

  • exceed personal sales quotas, cover open schedules and appointments as needed;

  • lead sales meetings, manage sales performance, monitor competition in area to remain competitive;

  • provide technical assistance and training to field personnel on accounts;

  • attend district service meetings to strengthen relationships with service personnel as well as networking meetings;

Qualifications


  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • 2 years' sales experience required 


  • Must be able to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment after training

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, walk on uneven surfaces, climb ladders, reach overhead and inspect small spaces

  • Must be able to work independently in the field

  • Must maintain valid driver’s license through life of employment

Must be able to pass criminal history background check and drug screen.   

Must be available to work onsite in the Chicago, Illinois service area on a daily basis.
