The Role:

Entegris is seeking a 2 nd shift QA Analytical Chemist for our KSP facility. Wednesday -Sunday 0 3 : 3 0 p m- 0 0 : 3 0 A M .

The QA Chemist is responsible for QA testing and will provide analytical support for production of our Micro - Contamination Control and Membrane products. The QA Chemist will prepare and test samples using ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, TOC analysis, NVR , LC-CAD, GC- MS and GC-FID /MS .

In this role you will:

• Conduct QA product testing of Filtration and Membrane products from manufacturing .
  

• F ollow and documen t standard operating procedures for conducting required tests .
  

• Set up analytical standards, reagent mixes and/or deliver production chemicals used in testing process.
  

• Analyze and interpret test data , maintain documentation of test operations and ensure data quality and integrity.
  

• Perform prevent at ive maintenance and troubleshoot testing equipment .
  

• Remove and dispose waste chemicals in accordance with company established safety procedures .
  

• Handle customer requests appropriately and in a timely manner .
  

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related scientific discipline and at least 2 years of relative work experience is required ; strong internship/co-op experience in a related field will be considered.
  

• A strong scientific approach and high attention to detail are key to success in this role.
  

• Ability to collaborate and successfully work in a team environment while completing individual projects is required .
  

• ICP MS , HPLC, and GC FID / MS experience s are preferred.
  

• Experience with a LIMs (Labware) system is a plus.
  

• Previous experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
  

• So me exposure to an ISO 9000 work environment is preferred.
