This will be an ONSITE position supporting Andover, MA.

What You Will Do


  • The individual will be responsible for monitoring, preparation and support of cost proposals for RMD and TINA Sweeps that have Global Supply Chain content. 

  • The individual will work closely with various Integrated Business Teams’ (IBT) Program Management Offices, Manufacturing Work Centers and Cross Business Teams to ensure that the proper scope and pricing ground rules are established and followed. 

  • The individual will prepare costing data for material inputs from Operations and Integrated Supply Chain for various proposals, and in doing so, will research and analyze historical data and ensure that current actual data is used in preparation of proposals and are supportable during negotiations. 

  • The individual’s responsibility will also include the preparation of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for Cost Volume submittals which meet RMD guidelines and are in line with Raytheon IPDS (Gate 4 compliant). 

  • The individual may participate in cost and pricing reviews with Supply Chain Leadership, audits with Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) / Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), and negotiations with the Customer, as required. 

Qualifications You Must Have


  • Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Microsoft Excel (i.e., basic formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, filtering/sorting, etc.)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with senior levels of management and customer organizations

  • Possess good investigative/analytical abilities

  • Strong organization skills

  • Demonstrated ability to consistently meeting deadlines in a schedule driven environment

  • Effective planning and scheduling skills that lead to the completion of proposal efforts in accordance with customer and company requirements

  • The ability to work well in teams, with peers and management

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
