University of California Irvine Clinical Cancer Geneticist - Health Sciences Professor Series The Division of Genetic and Genomic Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, UCI School of Medicine is seeking a two full-time Clinical Geneticists with expertise in cancer genetics to join our clinical and academic faculty of 10 geneticists and 10 genetic counselors. The Division provides outpatient care and inpatient consultation services to a diverse patient population in the cancer genetics clinics at UC Irvine Health, and in pediatric, metabolic, adult, and prenatal genetics clinics at UCI and our affiliated hospitals. Division faculty members also participate in didactic and clinical training of residents, fellows, genetic counseling graduate students, medical students, and other trainees, and provide community outreach. Clinical or translational research participation is possible and encouraged, and there are many possibilities for collaborative research. We are home to one of the first genetic counseling graduate programs and to ACGME-accredited Clinical Genetics and Genomics categorical and combined residency training programs. The Division provides inpatient consultation services and outpatient care in cancer, metabolic, prenatal, pediatric adult, and specialty genetics clinics at the UC Irvine Medical Center, Children's Hospital Orange County, and Memorial Care Miller Children's and Women's Hospital. Division faculty members are actively involved in clinical, translational, and basic science research.
