Position Overview:

STS Technical Services is hiring Unlicensed A&P Mechanics in Indianapolis, Indiana, to perform intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks on aircraft. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality standards in aircraft maintenance without the requirement of an A&P license. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in flight control, engine throttle rigging, and the ability to use FAA-approved data proficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Flight Control & Engine Throttle Rigging: Perform precise rigging of flight controls and engine throttles, ensuring all adjustments meet quality standards.
  
  
• Data Utilization: Proficiently use FAA-approved data, including IPC, M/M, OHM, and SRM, to guide maintenance tasks.
  
  
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all work performed adheres to the highest quality standards.
  
  
• Leadership: Direct and guide less experienced mechanics to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  
  
• Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Demands/Work Environment:

• The role requires regular sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and movement around the facility.
  
  
• The work environment is a warehouse setting, and candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional manufacturing environment.
