Job Description:

Criminal/Intel Analyst - TS/SCI Eligible - Biometric Analysis

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Criminal/Intel Analyst at GDIT in support of the ATLAS contract under Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) International Operations (IO) programs, particularly the Operational Analysis (Ops) activities supporting the mission execution needs. You'll apply the latest analysis techniques and tools to provide operational support for HSI Special Agents involved in overseas biometric collection. Our work depends on a Criminal/Intel Analyst joining our team to coordinate directly with HSI Special Agents and specialists to enhance the law enforcement and intelligence analysis activities relating to overseas biometric collection. This can include collating and evaluating data from biometric collections, analyzing data against available government holdings, and delivering actionable intelligence and/or law enforcement investigative cases as guided by the DHS HSI IO mission. This will include engaging with IO leadership, analysts supporting multiple task areas, and more.

HOW A NATIONAL SECURITY ANALYST SR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provide experienced intelligence, law enforcement, military, and/or other analytical perspectives to enhance the efficacy of investigation and intelligence products specifically relating to evaluating biometric collections produced in support of IO mission activities,
Evaluate methods of improving use of products, tools, and other capabilities to analyze, collect, document, report, and track the inputs and outputs of various IO initiatives, investigations, operations, and programs
Coordinate with relevant contract and government staff to enhance and support collaboration with designated and relevant mission partners to include other IO units, foreign, law enforcement, intelligence, and other partners as relates to IO's specialized overseas biometric capture program,
Collaborate via relevant government staff with other IO units to drive investigative cases and intelligence products, to enhance efficiencies, and to identify critical problem sets and/or threats based on operational and programmatic areas of responsibility

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science

Required Experience: 2+ years of related experience

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI Eligible

Required Skills and Abilities: experience in law enforcement, military, and/or intelligence community support to include investigation, intelligence, government briefing, and/or policy/ guidance development;

Preferred Skills: experience in investigation, intelligence, analysis, and/or report writing, with knowledge of visas and immigration laws and procedures to also include government criminal, intelligence, investigative, reporting, and/or travel databases

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
