Scheduled: Full time; 2nd Shift M-Th 4:30 PM - 2:00 AM - Set schedule, no changes can be made to this schedule.


Wage: $20.00 per hour + $1.00 Shift Differential


PLEASE READ: The CTO position is available on the 2nd shift. Candidates MUST be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 2:00 AM. Consistent attendance is mandatory , and any missed days will be subject to Penske's attendance policy.


$1500 bonus following 90-days of employment!


Overtime and weekend days may be required - notice is provided for required OT.

Brief Description: As a stand up clamp truck operator you will spend about 90% of your shift on the clamp truck and the other 10% will be direct product handling. Our business partner is Lowes so you will handle mostly small and large appliances that are shipped to Lowes stores and direct to consumer. We use a smart clamp system and the clamp will automatically adjust the pressure to safely move the product. You will perform a mixed bag of duties including but not limited to, loading & unloading, stowing product, picking product, and other tasks that may be assigned by the supervisors.


Job Responsibilities: Including but not limited to


• Utilize a Stand Up Clamp Truck


• Accurately stage and sort products for loading


• Loads and unloads trailers


• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas


• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets


• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)


• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system


• Complete daily logs


• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets


• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber


Qualifications:


• No prior experience required


• High school diploma or equivalent preferred


• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required


• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required


• Flexible to work overtime preferred


• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required


• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.


• This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
