Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities of the Environmental & Quality Coordinator may include but are not limited to:
The EQ Coordinator is responsible for the management of the ISO 9001 Quality System and the ISO 14001 Environmental System. This position is expected to keep these systems in conformance with the applicable standards and work with the entire division to audit the systems and create an environment of continual improvement. In addition the position will assist with maintaining compliance with all environmental regulations and permit requirements. This includes completing environmental reporting, assisting in the maintenance and updating of environmental plans, emergency response, building relationships with regulators and inspectors, and providing support in the enhancement and sustainability of our environmental training program. The EQ Coordinator is expected to participate and promote an atmosphere of cooperation and team work while maintaining compliance in all areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in environmental/material science, engineering, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in industrial environmental compliance and/or quality assurance
• Knowledge of air pollution control and water treatment systems
• Experience with ISO or other management systems
