Continuous Improvement Specialist for a direct hire east of Green Bay, WI. Seeking a subject matter expert in Lean Six Sigma to be a key player of an operational excellence integration across several midwest operations.


The right person works with management across all functional areas to eliminate waste, reduce process variation and improve the customer and employees experience. This person will be able to successfully mentor LSS principles to effectively lead projects to reduce waste and increase output across multiple plants.


Seeking a great communicator with a BS degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering along with min of five (5) years of proven experience with effective change management. This position offers travel 50% domestically to other US plants where you will work with the Operational Excellence Team and stakeholders to develop and manage the LSS project pipeline. responsibilities:



  • Coordinate Lean Six Sigma White, Yellow, Green Belts training and certification.

  • Provide coaching and mentoring of LSS principles to effectively lead projects to reduce waste and increase output.

  • Coach Yellow and Green belts on Kaizen facilitation.

  • Lead DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control) projects in the support of strategic initiatives

  • Work with the Operational Excellence Team and business stakeholders to develop and manage the LSS project pipeline ensuring projects are identified, analyzed, prioritized.

  • Updates project status and financial benefits in LSS databases for the project and projects of the belts coached.

  • Develop and Track Lean KPIs

  • Support the assigned sites in building Value Stream Mapping/Capacity Analysis and


Experience Required:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required along with min of five (5) years leading Lean Manufacturing is required

  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills with demonstrated leadership being a part of a cross-functional plant management team

  • Proven experience in change management and a knack for interacting with others and maintaining constructive working relationships

  • Demonstrate ability to lead, facilitate and coordinate training of all belts in Lean Six Sigma tools, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Possess a passion to drive continuous improvement while embracing positive change that follows

  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, reporting tools

  • Food consumer packaged goods experience as well as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) preferred

  • Must be willing and able to travel 50% + domestically for extended periods
