Job Description
Suburban Insulation is seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Garage Door Technician. In this role, you will assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing residential and commercial garage doors and related systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in starting a career in the garage door industry and is willing to learn and grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing garage doors and related systems.
- Learn and understand the operation of various garage door models, components, and systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer questions and concerns in a professional manner.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on garage doors and associated hardware.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues with garage door systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience in the garage door industry is a plus but not required.
