We are looking for a talented Warehouse Coordinator - Level III to join our team specializing in Logistics for our Cummins Inc. facility in Plainfield, IN.


In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:




  • Efficient Coordination : By managing operations across various areas like Inbound, Outbound, and Kitting, you’ll ensure smooth and efficient workflows.

  • Optimized Delivery: Efficiently receiving, sorting, and storing goods will optimize warehouse space and improve delivery processes.


  • Operational Excellence : Demonstrating high competency in core work skills and meeting cycle times will contribute to operational efficiency.


  • Team Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration with your team and support staff will enhance overall team performance.


  • Continuous Improvement : Seeking ways to improve processes, safety, and quality will drive continuous improvement and support business goals.




RESPONSIBILITIES


To be successful in this role you will need the following:




  • Communicate Effectively : Develop and deliver clear, multi-mode communications tailored to the unique needs of different audiences. This ensures everyone is on the same page and understands their roles and responsibilities.

  • Manage Warehouse Inventory Control : Utilize inventory control methodologies to manage physical inventory effectively. This ensures that inventory levels are maintained accurately and customer expectations are met.




Education/Experience:


High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.


A two-year University degree from an accredited program in Business, Engineering or a relevant field of study preferred.


This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.


Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience in a related field such as logistics, warehousing and third-party logistics provider management.


QUALIFICATIONS


Additional Information:




  • Assumes responsibility for productive inventory space utilization.


  • This position will identify opportunities on a daily basis for consolidating / optimizing inventory using the least amount of space possible.


  • This position will also help manage inventory levels and space utilization at our off-site warehouse.




Compensation:


Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
