Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager - Infrastructure – Data Center to join our team! In this role you will handle key clients, manage project timelines, and budgets, create risk mitigations, and eliminate issues.

You will be responsible for managing project goals and objectives whilst being required to work under constraints and optimize allocation/integration of inputs, to run several separate or integrated projects simultaneously, you will be responsible for managing the project end to end.

You will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of the projects are handled to the exact needs of the clients based on Qiddiya and Parsons methodology, with the ability to adapt to various internal procedures, A unique blend of business and management savvy will be an added advantage. You should possess the ability to understand any key issues associated with the project on both technical and commercial aspects.

You should be process-driven and cost-conscious with an eye for detail and an ability to think outside the box, to achieve the end results with cost-effective solutions

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Leads planning and delivery for assets and systems as highlighted above and ensures operational consistency across the programme of work.
  • Ensure contractors create and execute project work plans and revise them as appropriate, to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identify resources needed by the contractors and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope.  Review deliverables prepared by the delivery team before passing them to the client team.
  • Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  • Manage, mitigate, and minimize exposure and risk/issues on the project.
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Analyse problems at an early stage and recommend/apply the most optimum solution in consultation with the other team members in PMO as well as the Technical Team, where required.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of Qiddiya and Parsons capabilities.  Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies and their potential application on client engagements.
  • Should be able to communicate any business development decision/messages to the clients in a very crystal-clear form either verbal or in writing.
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively.
  • Hold regular status meetings with the project team, provide updates, and track project timelines to ensure that the projects are not overshooting the original plans.
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.
  • Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
  • Skillful in communicating difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Engineering Degree or related discipline with minimum 14 years’ experience in large construction and Data Center projects, across multi-disciplinary and functional teams, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management certificate (PMP) and to be valid.
  • Must Have Data Center Certification by Uptime institute Accredited Tier Design (ATD).
  • Knowledge with TIA standards and mandatory to have Data Center Certifications (Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Center Specialist (CDCS), Certified TIA Design Consultant (CTDC).
  • Demonstrated leadership and management Skills.
  • Proven of working within complex design and construction environment.  Ability to work in and lead teams.
  • Ability to clearly deliver work instructions in a complex stakeholder environment and deliver objectives and targets.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization (dual reporting). Ability to interact with an influence senior-level management. Ability to consult, motivate, and negotiate effectively with client groups, co-workers, employees, vendors, and contractors.
  • Must function effectively under time constraints, schedule workload to meet deadlines, and have the ability to prioritize.
  • Strong Management skills to lead a team, manage consultants and contractors.
  • Excellent Customer facing and presentation skills.
  • Hand Over Data center Project with capacity at least 10 MW.
  • Health safety, sustainability, environmental and quality knowledge and leadership.
  • Stakeholder coordination, including local and national government authorities, internal departments, facility operators, consultants, and contractors.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Previous Saudi Arabian experience preferrable or /International Experience.
  • Advantageous to have extensive experience in management of design and construction of Data Center and contracting in challenging multi-partner environments.
  • Very strong communication skills in English, written and spoken, Knowledge of Arabic Would be Advantageous
