Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Industrial Analyst / CPSO to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be in Melbourne, FL.

Roles and Responsibilities: The Sr. Principal Industrial Security Analyst develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.

The CPSO implements all requisite national security directives with specific emphasis on NISPOM, Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Special Access Program (SAP) directives and other governing directives, as applicable. Exhibits the dedication and expectation of excellence required of a seasoned security professional while working and making decisions independently without direct supervision. The CPSO works as a team player, exhibits flexibility, sets priorities, and manages customer expectations in a sometimes fast-paced environment. The CPSO interacts with internal and external customers or Government security officials in performance of security duties, and provides guidance to other CPSOs throughout the sector, on an enterprise level.

Basic Qualifications: *

10 Years of Industrial Security experience with Bachelors; OR 8 years with Masters; OR an additional 4 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree

* Candidate must have and be able to maintain an Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret *level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years

* Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

* Working knowledge of the Intelligence Community Directives (ICD's), National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), SAP Directives (DODM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4), and Supplement Information system security experience desired

* Experience implementing ICD 705 Standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a Cleared Defense Contractor (CDC) working in corporate and/or government environments with industrial security duties in support of Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD) programs, Completion of an accredited/approved CSSO course; other professional accreditations and certifications

* Efficient, proactive, responsive team player with excellent written and oral communication skills; able to interface effectively with all levels of corporate management and government customers

* Must be proficient in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience using security management software and applications

* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables. Hands on, self-starting, disciplined and detail-oriented individual with ability to work independently in a high-volume environment

*Salary Range: *$95,000 - $142,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
