We have a Warehouse Lead position at our Monroe, LA location!
Responsibilities
Follows Plant safety & GMP policies.
Follows ISO quality management guidelines.
Distribute workload amongst team members.
Perform put away, picker, checking, and loading functions as needed.
This person must be willing to work overtime and weekends when volume dictates.
Perform general warehouse duties as necessary- cleanup, repacking, and inventory counts.
As needed, performing job duties from current position to entry level positions.
Ensure that customer orders are loaded correctly with the correct product.
Update order tracking tools multiple times per shift
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Process JDE documentation. Print orders, create BOL's and file according to ISO.
Perform standard functions in Transportation Management Service (TMC).
Have a flexible schedule to fill in for Warehouse Coordinators when absent.
Training employees, planning, assigning and directing work.
Work with freight companies to resolve issues. (i.e. tracking, POD etc.).
Inform freight LTL companies when we have inventory for them to pick up.
Create shipping labels and maintain label inventory.
Basic customer service relating to the shipping of product to the customers.
Assist with evaluations and performance tools.
Continuously communicate with the warehouse coordinators, assistance supervisor and manager.
Qualifications
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions.
Ability to speak effectively with co-workers, customers, and truck drivers.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
Knowledge of computers with experience in: JDE, data entry, MS Office, Internet.
This individual must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Two to three years related experience in a Shipping/Warehouse office.
Basic knowledge of routine activities associated with product distribution.
