Responsibilities

  • Maintain operation of designated line.
  • Be able to supervise Helpers on line and be responsible for their actions.
  • Ability to take ownership of the line when it is down and be responsible for getting the line back up and running under normal running conditions.
  • Ability to train their helpers to perform properly in accordance with the helper's responsibilities.
  • Responsible for following safety rules, such as wearing safety gloves, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection and safety glasses in assigned areas and the appropriate safety procedures that apply. A technician is also responsible for the enforcement of safety rules to the helper.
  • Responsible for clean ups and daily clean up that is due by the end of the shift.
  • Ability to do all technician paperwork, key information into the computer system, and be responsible for all products run on the line.
  • Ability to understand the process and operation of the equipment.
  • Drive forklift as needed to move skids and/or supplies in a safe manner.
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

  • Qualifications
  • Prefer at least 1 year as an Apprentice Technician or approval from upper management.
  • Possess basic computer/typing skills.
  • Ability to understand/communicate English in oral and written form.
  • Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
  • Ability and willingness to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
  • Complete recipe training.
  • Basic supervisory skills.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.

    Salary Range
    $39,520 to $56,160
