Job Summary Alumni Affairs and Development (AA&D) Alumni Affairs and Development is a dedicated team supporting Harvard's advancement activity through front-line fundraising, alumni and volunteer engagement, technology, prospect management and research, business process, events, communications, and many other areas. AA&D is comprised of the University Development Office (UDO), Faculty of Arts and Sciences (FAS) Development, AA&D Resources, the Harvard Alumni Association (HAA), and the Office of the Vice President (OVP). Position Description This full-time position is responsible for numerous administrative and project management functions for the Academic and Development Planning (ADP) team, part of FAS Development Resources and Planning group within FAS Development, under the supervision of the Associate Director, Academic and Development Planning. This position will coordinate the daily activities of ADP, providing the team with editorial, design, and administrative support for content production and development in support of major and principal gift fundraising; provide administrative, research and data analysis support of the team and the FAS-wide priorities planning; and administer and oversee the content and design of ADP's intranet pages. This position requires the ability to maintain strong and positive working relationships with development colleagues and members of the FAS administration. The successful candidate should demonstrate a high level of organization, professionalism, and discretion. Coordinates a variety of ADP activities and projects, including editorial workflow via the WorkFront project management system; responsible for proofreading and style sheet conformity of development communications in a wide array of genres; may use InDesign to design approved copy into content formats. Provides administrative, research, data analysis, and meeting support for a variety of team projects, which may include priorities planning, emerging priorities, principal gifts, gift planning and fundraiser education trainings and contents, feasibility studies, and multi-year planning.
