Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Provides management and financial analysis of department and research support operations. Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Assist with managing accounting services within department including budgets, financial reports, and analysis. Develops financial models, projections, and forecasts for business management functions. Assists with department annual budget and estimates. Primary Fiscal Manager for Large Recharge Center. Responsible for billing tasks related to the WUCCI Recharge Center through the iLab and Workday systems, reviewing and approve service records and billing rates, generating customer invoices for internal and external uses on a timely basis. Serves as primary administrative contact for users; create user profiles in the systems and resolve billing conflicts; facilitate the execution of service contract for new external users to ensure compliance. Monitor the status of revenue collection from both internal and external sources, addressing any issues associated with Accounts Receivables for the WUCCI. Responsible for fiscal management of service contracts and software licenses and amortize on a quarterly basis. Responsible for tracking micro-grant and internal funding expenditures and reporting balances. Provides the Scientific Director and Business Director with monthly and annual financial reports and analysis (grants and operating funds), monitoring and communicating any personnel and non-personnel funding needs on a timely basis. Works with Research Administrator in relation to reports and projections involving research funding and integration with the overall WUCCI Recharge Center budget. Manages all WUCCI grant funds, including reporting, budgeting, purchasing and payroll sourcing. Manages all WUCCI personnel sourcing, PCA/PAA, and effort certifications. Coordinates with other departments for WUCCI staff supported by grant funds outside of Cell Biology & Physiology. Completes all usage reports. Manages endowments, including coordination with Financial Analyst III for payroll costing allocations. Manages reallocation of overhead and salary rebate program. Sets up new FFR owners, roles, and projects. Manages projects (start-up and other discretionary accounts), including contingent draw downs and tracking. Reviews and recommends operational policies/procedures. May manage support staff. Assists Business Director with projects as needed. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
