Employment Type: Permanent Staff (EHRA NF) Vacancy ID: NF0008413 Position Summary/Description: Assist the head coach with all aspects of the Fencing program including but not limited to: practice competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, organizing and administering clinics, etc., and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program. Must demonstrate integrity, leadership, a strong commitment and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified students. Education and Experience: Prefer at least 1 year of experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities; specific minimum experience is at the discretion of the Director of Athletics. Essential Skills: 2-5 years of coaching experience in an intercollegiate environment preferably at a Division I level. Knowledge of and familiarity NCAA rules and regulations. Good organizational, interpersonal communications and computer skills necessary.
