About the role
The Fleet Dealer Supervisor is responsible to support large fleets management requirements linked to specific GM/GMF Dealers and Customers, including companies and government entities which represents strategic fleet operations to GM and to the automotive fleet market in Mexico.
The Fleet Dealer Supervisor must have the capability to understand and analyze the information around each fleet transaction providing the key relevant insights to facilitate the decision-making process among stakeholders. Also, must be able to create and maintain controls in the systems and/or excel/access applications, prepare forecasts and credit lines requirements.
What you need
- Bachelor degree in Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Actuary or similar
- English and Spanish fluent skills
- At least 2 years in the finance industry.
- High analytical capacity.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office tools.
- Able to participate in strategic meetings with key stakeholders to manage large fleet transactions.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to create new strategic reports and dashboards to facilitate large fleet monitoring process.
- Ability to work under pressure while keeping a high decision quality and on time deliverables.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
What you will be doing
- Understand needs and requirements as defined in every large fleet transaction, identify details behind everyone (e.g. delivery schedule, payment conditions, risk mitigants - Assignment of Collection Rights, payments through bank accounts under GMF's control, etc.)
- Identify potential credit line requirements to support large fleet transactions evaluating GM Dealer's financial and credit conditions (securities, guarantors, performance, etc.) considering every large fleet conditions.
- Responsible to maintain a strict control over large fleet transactions between GM Dealers and Customers through an ongoing reconciliation process to assure exposure is maintained under approved credit limits.
- Work with internal areas to support the inventory reconciliation process, identify potential gaps and propose actions oriented to enhance controls.
- Generate daily information through reports and dashboard with the updated status on every large fleet transaction for monitoring purposes.
- Support administrative activities needed to manage large fleet requirements (e.g. Confirmation of inventory delivery dates, payment from End Customers, etc.)
- Participate in meetings with Dealers, GM, GMF Sales, CLC and end customers.
- Availability to take eventual business trips.
