Business Operations Support Coordinator - Military Veterans

Position Summary


The purpose of this position is to coordinate every stage of the repair process once Operations has received the medical device.  This position will serve as a liaison for customer care specialists, internal repair departments and external repair vendors regarding the status of a repair, customer / sales concerns and information requests.  Additionally, this position provides scheduling and administrative support directly to their related operations department. 




Duties



Liaison between Customer Care Specialists and Repair Departments for normal processing of a customer order and to resolve any issues that may arise during the repair:   



  • Quotes, Approvals, Details of Performed Repair, Price Codes, Warranty Concerns, Estimated Ship Dates, Repair Capabilities, Repair Exchange, Certified Pre-Owned Programs, etc. 

  • Handles all Logistics and Communication with External Repair Vendors. 

  • Develops Point of Contact relationship with their counterpart. 

  • Handles all Shipping and Receiving functions. 

  • Translate and/or revises vendors quotations and communication to ensure consistency with IMS pricing and repair codes. 

  • Monitors status of repair and facilitates discussions to resolve issues. 

  • Notifies vendors of quality and delivery concerns. 

  • Provides Production Scheduling Assistance to Department Managers. 

  • Assists other Departments (Shipping/Receiving, Stock Room, Quality Assurance) as needed to facilitate the smooth execution of the repair process. 

  • Executes Reports for both Operational Performance, Customer Repairs, and Product Category metrics. 

  • Performs all Oracle transactions to complete the duties listed above.





Education Degree


Associate's Degree



Required Experience



Number of years' experience accepted in lieu of degree and type:    4 years of work experience with 2 of those years in customer service.  Experience in working in the medical device field a plus. 


Number of years' experience with degree indicated above and type:      2 years of work experience with 1 of those years working in customer service.
