Program Coordinator | Johns Hopkins University - Military Veterans

The Center for Economy and Society (CES) at the SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins is seeking a Program Coordinator to coordinate, facilitate, and implement academic support services and student services for the new B.A. in Moral and Political Economy (MPE). These duties include but are not limited to assisting in registration, general program communications, scheduling classrooms as needed, and event planning for major related events. Responsibilities require significant collaboration with other members of the CES and SNF Agora faculty, staff, and students. The position also requires sensitivity to the interrelations of both people and functions across various departments and institutions across JHU campuses. We expect the Program Coordinator to work fully in-person. The Program Coordinator will also provide administrative support and perform program management and administrative duties for CES' broader initiatives. This includes event planning for both Homewood and DC-based events; facilitating communication among students, faculty, staff, and external partners; and occasionally traveling for events. About the Center for Economy and Society and the B.A. program in Moral and Political Economy The B.A. program in Moral and Political Economy is a new interdisciplinary major that inspires students to think about economic problems in their social, cultural, moral, and political contexts.  Students who join the MPE major are encouraged to think flexibly across social-scientific and humanistic disciplines in conceiving novel and integrated approaches to problems of ongoing social concern.
