Army Space Capabilities Integration Specialist - Military Veterans

The Network Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing user requirements, managing risks and compliance, providing training and support, and facilitating communication between end users and stakeholders. This role is essential in ensuring that Army space capabilities are user-friendly, compliant with regulations, and effective in real-world scenarios. The candidate will leverage their expertise in Army space operations to enhance operational effectiveness and support mission success.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Gathering User Requirements:
    • Interface with end users to understand needs, concerns, and feedback related to space capabilities.
    • Conduct DOTMLPF-P analysis and produce assessments based on current and future requirements from Army space operational units.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve user experiences with Army space capabilities.
    • Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices to enhance user satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaboration and Documentation:
    • Maintain and update documentation related to user requirements, feedback, testing results, and training materials.
    • Collaborate with other User Representatives, Capability Managers, project managers, and stakeholders to integrate user needs into the overall capability development process.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Identify and document potential risks, gaps, and other issues impacting new capabilities' successful implementation from a user perspective.
    • Ensure Army capabilities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and security requirements to protect user data and maintain operational security.
    • Brief ACM-SHA leadership on findings and potential mitigation factors.
  • Training and Software Test Support:
    • Conduct analysis to ensure personnel proficiency with new capabilities.
    • Coordinate assessments with SMDS and SPEB to provide user support for training and doctrine.
    • Provide detailed feedback and recommendations for the integration of applications into the MCIS/Space C2 baseline.
    • Participate in testing and evaluation activities to ensure new capabilities meet user requirements and are effective in real-world scenarios.
  • Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between end users, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure user perspectives are considered throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Assist in synchronizing DOTMLPF-P areas for the fielding of new and upgraded Space C2 capabilities.
    • Support Integrated Concept Development Teams by providing detailed analyses of specific system characteristics' warfighting capability impact.

Job Requirements

  • Job Requirements:
    • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field. (Substitution of additional directly applicable experience for degree may be considered, e.g., military operational experience).
    • Must be a U.S. citizen.
    • Must possess a current Top Secret (with SCI eligibility) security clearance to access classified information. Inability to maintain a security clearance will result in ineligibility for this position.
  • Required Skills/Knowledge:
    • Strong analytical and communication skills.
    • Must have experience with Army Mission Command Systems and associated networks
    • Knowledge of US Army Training and Doctrine Command.
    • Expertise in one or more of the following areas:
      • Multi-Domain Operations
      • Space Control/Superiority
      • Satellite Communications (SATCOM)
      • Theater Space Experience
