Machinery Finance Resources, a division of Morris Group, Inc., is an equipment finance organization that supports the manufacturing community. We provide custom finance solutions to help manufacturers acquire machinery. We are seeking an ambitious and conscientious Customer Service Admin for our Windsor, CT location. This role will provide the right individual with opportunities to work for a great company in a fast-paced, growing industry.

Summary of Responsibility:

As the Customer Service Admin, you will be responsible for answering and directing all incoming phone calls and handling all customer service-related inquiries and concerns, working closely with customers and financial institutions. There will also be an opportunity to learn how to process financing transactions.

What You Will Contribute:



  • Liaison between customer and billing service centers


  • Researching and handling misdirected payments


  • Processing payoff requests and verifying accuracy, with confirmation and documentation of paid in full accounts


  • Assisting in contract payments and insurance billing and collecting


  • Maintaining documentation of all customer communication and notes in system


  • Filing, scanning, and general office duties including processing incoming and outgoing mail and ordering office supplies


  • Filing UCC financing statements


  • Requesting and reviewing insurance certificates for accuracy


  • Processing simple equipment finance transactions


  • Provide general office support



Qualifications and Competencies:



  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related work experience; experience in equipment leasing is a plus.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication along with problem-solving skills are required


  • Highly-detail oriented, organized, and possess the ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment with minimal supervision.


  • Capable of prioritizing workload in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities


  • Excellent customer service and time management skills


  • Strong math proficiency: experience in a financial field is a plus


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required and other financial software knowledge is a plus
