As a Senior Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating various programs within the Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS) business unit. You will be accountable for ensuring the successful execution of programs, driving efficiency and effectiveness, and delivering value to our customers. With your expertise and guidance, you will contribute to the growth and success of our business.

You will report directly to the Sr. Program Manager, and will work out of our Tulsa, OK location on a hybrid work schedule.



Key responsibilities




  • Delivering projects and services (project deliverables) within budgeted cost and schedule with quality required.


  • Interfacing directly with UOP customers on all facets of project (meetings, monthly reporting, inspections,
    documentation, start-up). Ability to work with technical specifications, drawings, manufacturing/fabrication methods/standards/schedules,
    and contractual requirements


  • Coordinating with Sales, Customer Care, and Accounting for the setup of projects in SAP
    (hang networks, plan costs/hours) and establishing cost accruals for outsourced equipment.


  • Obtaining necessary documentation (UOP & customer specifications) for preparing equipment purchase requisitions.


  • Coordinating review of vendor equipment drawings and specifications for conformance to UOPrequirements.


  • Coordinating project inspections (by UOP or third party) at equipment vendor facilities.


  • Coordinating and attending customer factory acceptance testing at vendor facilities.


  • Providing support to Procurement, Logistics, Credit & Collections, and other relevant UOP departments
    involved in the execution of assigned projects.


  • Updating SAP cost planning and project reporting tools on a continual basis.


  • Participating in infrastructure work to create/revise departmental standards, specifications and procedures.


  • Identifying opportunities for continuous work process and productivity improvements on project activities.


  • Conforming to corporate policies and practices, such as Human Resources (HR), Health Safety & Environmental
    (HS&E), Legal, Financial, and Accounting.


  • Other duties may be assigned.



YOU MUST HAVE




  • Bachelor of Science Degree, in Business, Engineering, or related field


  • Minimum five (5) years experience in Project Management with focus leading projects that includes mechanical equipment design, specification adherence, and manufacturing of complex equipment

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to energize cross-functional, global customers, teams, and organizations.


  • Experience in the design, procurement, or installation of mechanical equipment or equipment systems is also
    desirable.


  • Working knowledge of SAP and software such as MS Project, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is also required.


  • Good communication, organizational, problem solving and project teamwork skills.


  • Ability to execute to plans while effectively managing risks and opportunities


  • Experience with the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)


  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills.


  • Excellent communications skills.


  • Ability to interface effectively with customers.


  • Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt or Lean Manufacturing) Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification desired.


  • Ability to travel up to 10% annually on a global basis.
