Southwire Job Description



Key Responsibilities
•    Build and maintain professional relationships with all Plant staff
•    Represent Southwire by coordinating hourly recruiting and on-boarding activities
•    Conduct hourly new hire orientations
•    Act as primary for weekly timecard approvals and submissions to payroll
•    Lead Plant diversity and inclusivity initiatives
•    Maintain integrity of team member records, files and data
•    Positively impact and contribute to all aspects of HR
•    Project Gift - Involvement and participation in community events  
•    Efficient day-to-day operations of the HR office
 
Qualifications
•    Experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative
•    Position preferred PC literacy (MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
•    Hands on experience with an HRIS or HRMS helpful
•    Excellent organizational skills
•    Strong communications skills
•    Ability to be proactive
•    Organized and timely


Education, Experience, Skills
Minimum Education Level: Associates
Minimum Years of Experience: 1-3
Preferred Education Level: Bachelor's
Preferred Years of Experience: 2+
