Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a Security Installation Manager to join our team! In this role you will lead a team of Electricians and Security Technician while working at US Embassies and Consulates around the world.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the installation of security systems at various US Embassies and Consulates worldwide.


• Supervise and coordinate the work of Electricians and Security Technicians, ensuring that all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.


• Provide technical guidance on the installation of security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.


• Troubleshoot and resolve any complex technical issues that arise during the installation process.


• Maintain quality control and documentation standards, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest levels of safety and security.


• Ensure that all installations comply with Department of State standards and National Electrical Code (NEC).


• Lead a team in the installation of security projects by providing technical expertise.


• Works with Program Leadership and Project Managers to deliver a professional installation.


• Submit daily project reports to Project Manager, Functional Manager, and/or Program Leadership. Update project redlines daily.


• Stays up to date with current installation techniques and safety practices.


• Mentor and develop team members, providing training and guidance on the latest security technologies and best practices.


• Lead daily and weekly safety training talks.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Eight plus years of experience within a technical field or related industry.


• Must have the ability to obtain a security clearance.


• Demonstrated team leader experience and skills.


• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, particularly in challenging and remote environments.


• The ability to set priorities, organize tasks and allot time across different activities.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.


• The ability to learn Department of State installation standards and training team members.


• Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to different cultures and working conditions.

Salary Range: 

$46.35 - $81.11
