Job Title: Construction Superintendent

Location: Deerfield - projects in Palm Beach, Broward, & Dade

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction through to project closeout, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Team Coordination:
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and Project Executive.
- Maintain open communication and ensure all project reports and updates are shared with the team and logged in Procore.

2. Email Communication:
- Use concise and professional email etiquette, ensuring proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Include project name and location in the subject line of all emails.

3. Budget Management:
- Monitor and maintain project budgets, ensuring no unauthorized expenses are incurred.
- Coordinate all labor and material costs with the Project Manager.

4. Pre-Construction Activities:
- Secure and distribute necessary permits.
- Review and understand all construction drawings, addressing any discrepancies or revisions.
- Establish and maintain relationships with building management, adjacent tenants, and subcontractors.

5. Construction Supervision:
- Provide constant on-site supervision, ensuring all work is completed according to plans and specifications.
- Maintain a 2-week look-ahead schedule, coordinating with subcontractors and managing site meetings.
- Document all site activities, changes, and inspections using Procore.

6. Quality Control and Safety:
- Uphold strict quality control standards, ensuring all work meets or exceeds project specifications.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and maintain a clean, organized job site.

7. Final Stages and Closeout:
- Schedule and coordinate final inspections, ensuring all work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and local authorities.
- Manage the punch list, ensuring all incomplete or unsatisfactory work is addressed promptly.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed, submitted, and archived appropriately.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software, preferably Procore.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
