Lead - OSW Commissioning, Avangrid Renewables, LLC, Boston, MA:

Oversee all Electrical Service Platform (ESP) and Onshore Substation Package (OSP) Contractor Commissioning activities related to quality, technical review, contractual and schedule compliance, including the interfaces with the relevant contractors from other packages. Lead and manage the overall commissioning schedule for the different projects. Support other Commissioning Managers with all activities related to Export Cable Testing and Commissioning. Manage and coordinate the Control and Protection System Interoperability Tests between the Company, on shore Contractor, and ESP and OSP contractor. Support the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Integration Test Related to Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) SCADA System and ESP SCADA system related to Switchgear Control and Windfarm Management System. Support the SCADA Commissioning Manager in terms of SCADA Integration with Center Operation Renewables (CORE) and Communication Overall tests. Development and management of the ESP and OSP Commissioning Manual. Coordinate regarding 'Safety from the System' and the implementation of the worksite electrical and mechanical safety rules. Management of Commissioning Resources within the ESP, WTG, Inter Array Cables (IAC), Export Cables Package (ECP) and OSP Package. Elaborate and review Yard and Offshore commissioning procedures of all tests to be performed as part of the Company responsibilities. Plan and chair site Coordination Commissioning meetings according to the package need. Coordination of the package contractor commissioning resources for all test that require interfacing several contractors, the company and system operator. Be familiar with the design during the pre-construction stage to anticipate possible functionality issues during the cold commissioning and hot commissioning stages. Support FAT by attending when key components are being tested. Participation in HAZOP and HAZID where relevant. Approve the final Offshore and Onshore Substation Commissioning File. Support the HSE department in the management and implementation of general safety. Provide a weekly report to the ESP Package and OSP and monthly report for the Overall project. Lead Commissioning managers.

Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $149,282.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of work experience.

With a Bachelor's degree, must have 6 years of experience with Grid Transmission Systems.

With a Master's degree, must have 4 years of experience with Grid Transmission Systems.

Must have 2 years of experience in commissioning management for power plants larger than 600 MW.

Must have PMP certification.

International travel required up to 15%; Domestic travel required up to 15%.
