Your role in our Future

Reporting to the Quadient Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and functionally to the Digital Chief Solutions Officer (CSO), the Digital Solutions CFO is heading Finance for the Digital activity, and specifically is the finance business partner for the Digital CSO.

Digital CFO provides a consolidated financial view for the business, relying on both regional support and direct line of Entrepreneur business (R&D and IP ownership) subsidiaries.

The role will also provide ad-hoc commercial consolidated revenue support as needed. Success in this role will require the ability to cultivate an effective business partnership between the CSO, the operational teams and Finance.

The Digital CFO will be viewed as a key business partner a "go to person" for financial analysis, insight, and counsel for Digital Solution. The job holder will be responsible for demonstrating strong communication, influencing and strategic thinking skills that will drive value to the business.

Key Accountabilities


  • Lead forecast activities in partnership with Regional CFOs bringing a top down view, commenting monthly landing reported by Region and overseeing the 3-year Plan for Digital Solution, providing recommendations and business driven scenario analyses.

  • Ensure a strong and deep understanding of all the key performance drivers & issues relating to budget, actual results & forecast updates. Incorporate understanding into quantitative and qualitative analysis of the business' financial results including variances. Ensure key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted at the due time.

  • Manage the monthly and quarterly close process for entities under his/her supervision (Quadient Software Inc, Quadient R&D etc...)

  • Ensure consistency in global Digital Solution accounting provided by both geographies (Regions) and shared services centre

  • Proactively recommend process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our reporting, systems and analysis

  • Provide ad-hoc revenue support for CSO such as M&A activities (business plans, due diligence, financial modelling and integration)

  • As member of the Quadient Extended Leadership Team (ELT) he/she will ensure EPIC collaboration with the wider Group cross functional initiatives and projects (EPIC stands for Empowerment, Passion, Inspiration, Community)

Your Profile

  • A BS or BA is required, and an MBA or CPA is preferred.

  • A minimum of 10/15 years of professional experience, preferably in software industry as well as experience in high-growth, multi-national organizations

  • Business Savvy and Financial Acumen

  • In-depth proficiency in all aspects of finance, controlling and accounting.

  • Solid experience with mergers and acquisitions from due diligence to integration

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, but also very willing and able to be "hands-on"

  • Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement; ability to instill that same level of motivation in the team

  • Results-driven and must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. She/he must have the ability to deliver results and possess a strong drive to meet and exceed goals and is willing to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills at executive level coupled with the ability to coach and influence others

  • Ability to quickly establish credibility with diverse audiences and be considered as a leader

  • Inquisitive mind and the ability to work effectively with multiple functions.

  • Able to direct multiple priorities simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Ability to work in a high-energy, fast paced, rapidly changing environment

  • Possessing technical knowledge on analytics, being an analytical, resourceful, detail oriented and meticulous problem-solver to overcome challenges and obstacles

  • Ability to provide business foresight. Being an independent self-starter and demonstrate leadership with a drive to strive for continuous improvement and consistently challenging the status quo.

  • Fluent spoken and written in English



This position has a salary range of:
$127,600.00 - $191,400.00
Quadient, Inc. has standard ranges for all U.S. - based roles, based on function, level, and scope, which are benchmarked against companies of similar size and growth-stage. To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share these targets on all job postings . Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise. As such, they may vary from the ranges listed.
