Career Opportunity:
Manage technical projects aimed at product and process problem solving and/or improvements, cost reduction, and profitability improvement. Provide technical assistance to the operating departments to help them achieve the mill's goals and objectives.
How you will impact WestRock:
- Assists in troubleshooting problems and teaching others how to react
- Assists in the planning and completion of production projects
- Administratively track any trials, changes and continual production information
- Assists in organizing and implementing any changes or trials
- Makes daily checks of production output and contributing factors
- Promotes daily safety communications while helping ensure a clean environment
- Process customer complaints offering corrective actions
- Maintains communications with customers while helping correct problems

What you will need to succeed:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Engineering (a Pulp & Power degree preferred); or five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
