Job Overview

The Sr. DHS Onsite Support Specialist supports Getinge's Digital Health Solutions (DHS) portfolio of products onsite for a singular customer. The position is trained to support the core DHS ecosystem of Tegris, T-DOC, and Torin while working closely with Sterile Processing and Operating Room staff on a daily basis. This position will be directly responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and providing a high level of customer service for Getinge's products. This position will sit onsite at the University of Texas Hospital in San Antonio.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

  • Provide excellent Tegris support onsite. This includes:
    • Prompt, professional, and courteous maintenance of Tegris products to meet guaranteed response times.
    • Ownership of Tegris Level 1 and 2 support cases.
    • Advanced Tegris problem solving.
    • Escalating Tegris Level 3 support cases to Engineering.
    • Ongoing end-user training as requested.
  • Provide excellent T-DOC support onsite. This includes:
    • Configuration and maintenance of T-DOC clients and server.
    • Ownership of T-DOC Level 1 and 2 support cases.
    • Ongoing training for T-DOC users and administrators.
    • Creation and maintenance of T-DOC reports.
    • Advanced T-DOC problem solving.
    • Escalating T-DOC Level 3 support cases to Engineering.
  • Provide excellent Torin support onsite. This includes:
    • Maintenance of Torin interface server.
    • Maintenance of Torin reporting dashboard.
    • Ongoing education of Torin users.
    • Escalating product enhancement requests to Engineering.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality system processes, protocols, and SOP's.
  • Establish and maintain positive and cooperative working relationships with customers and colleagues, conducting oneself in a professional and responsible manner at all times.
  • Maintain personal competence for meeting job responsibilities through effective use of product information and technical data provided by the company and others.
  • Participate in training seminars, meetings, and on-the-job training programs. Demonstrate a deep and thorough understanding, and an ability to apply concepts and knowledge obtained from these training and skill development sources.
  • Enhance company's image by participating in regional and national trade shows when required.
  • Comply with all company policies and perform other related responsibilities and assignments as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • B.S. Information Systems, or Information Technology /Computer related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4 years' experience in healthcare IT, OR technologies, or Sterile Processing technologies.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Strong ability to solve complex problems.
  • Understanding of client/server technologies, networking, and IT Security topics.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong working knowledge of client server technology, networking, and security.
  • Must be able to operate an automobile (valid driver's licensed required).
  • Must occasionally utilize hand tools to install, connect and test DHS systems.
  • Must be able to respond to inquiries and communicate with others by computer, via network and via telephone.
  • Must be able to interpret and manipulate data from computer-generated reports, software programs, technical manuals, and written correspondence.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Extensive time on computer. 4+ hours per day.
  • Remaining time spent on feet, walking varying distances between hospital departments. 4+ hours per day. Able to move quickly from one location within the hospital to another.

Salary range: Total Compensation= $36/hour - $44/hour depending on experience and location
