Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Health Services, Policy and Practice - PH 333 | Brown University - Military Veterans

The Brown University School of Public Health invites applications for an Assistant, Associate or Full Professor positions. These positions (both tenure-track and research scholar track) will carry an appointment in the Department of Health Services, Policy & Practice with an expected, though flexible, start date of July 1, 2025. There is special interest in researchers focused on aging, maternal health, and pharmaceutical policy, but health services researchers across a range of interests are encouraged to apply. The Department of Health Services, Policy & Practice (HSPP) is one of the four School of Public Health departments. It includes eight research centers , a top-ranked doctoral program, and post-doctoral training programs supported by T32s from NIA and AHRQ. HSPP provides an academic home to researchers interested in a wide array of populations, topics, and methods. Active projects range from pharmacoepidemiology, end-of-life care, health policy research, care delivery, quality of care, disparities, child health, and more. Faculty collaborate with researchers across the School and University, including the School of Medicine, School of Public Health's Center for Alcohol & Addiction Studies, Center for Health Promotion & Health Equity, Population Studies Training Center, the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society, and the Brown Institute for Translational Science. Many faculty also have appointments at the Providence Veteran's Administration Medical Center. Applicants must have a doctoral degree (MD or a PhD) and training and experience in health services research, epidemiology, economics, and/or a related discipline, with strong evidence of rigorous extramurally-funded research, teaching and mentorship, and other scholarly activity.
