Admissions Operations Assistant | Massbay Community College - Military Veterans

The Admissions OperationsAssistant will support the admissions operations team with day-to-day tasks tomeet the strategic enrollment goals of MassBay Community College. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Assist with monitoring email inboxes for the admission office, triaging and responding to incoming inquiries and reviewing submitted documents for processing; Assist with processing submitted documents (high school diplomas, high school transcripts, GED/HiSet score reports, College transcripts) from Parchment, National Student Clearing House, ScribFoward, and other outside agencies, in PeopleSoft student information system (SIS) and save to DocuWare; Process High School GPA Placement Waivers in PeopleSoft (SIS);Review submitted Tuition Eligibility Forms, and supporting documentation, communicate with students to determine eligibility; Enter prospects into PeopleSoft (SIS); Participate in Live Chat and Virtual Q&A ; Attend admissions operation team meetings ; Communicate in a professional manner to students, faculty, administrators, and outside agencies. This includes but is not limited to communications via phone, email, electronic and written correspondence; Assist with answering the admissions main phone line and returning voicemail; Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk in the Admissions office on the Wellesley Hills Campus; greet visitors to the office with a high-level customer service; Demonstrate commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive learning environment; Display strong attention to detail and advanced organizational skills; Perform other administrative and admissions operational duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Applicantsmust have at least (A) two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time,experience in office management, office administration, business administrationor business management, the major duties of which included one or more of thefollowing functions: purchasing, personnel management, budgeting, accounting, records management, work simplification, grantsmanagement, contract administration or program management, (B) any equivalentcombination of the required experience and the substitutions below. Substitutions: I. AnAssociate's or higher degree with a major in business administration, businessmanagement or public administration may be substituted for the requiredexperience.* II. An Associate's or higher degree with a major other than inbusiness administration, business management or public administration may besubstituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.* *Educationtoward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of therequirements actually completed. Capable of working independently and as a collaborative member of a team; Thorough understanding and ability to maintain the confidentiality of protected information and data integrity ; Ability to articulate the community college mission through action. Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System, Student Information Systems (SIS) and Document Imaging systems.
