Who You Are
As a Category Management Manager, you will be responsible for leading a hybrid, multi-site team of 10 or more Global Supply Chain professionals. Your team will focus on purchasing Non-Major BTP procurement to support an ADP program. This role will require you to manage and oversee a variety of tasks and responsibilities related to procurement and supply chain management.

What You Will Be Doing
This role involves both on-site work and telework, with travel to Suppliers and other sites as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage cost, schedule, and supplier performance.

Responsible for coordinating employee selection/hiring, training, development, performance and assessments, work assignments, and disciplinary actions.

Responsible for directing all phases of the subcontracts from initiation, Request For Proposals (RFP's), competitions, proposals, negotiations, issuing purchase orders, subcontract management of the suppliers, internal audits, cost accountability executive reviews, supplier reviews, program reviews, contract closeout and all associated metrics.

Experience with negotiations, proposal compliancy, and purchase order compliancy necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience with supply chain management

Experience collaborating effectively across multiple functional areas

Experience leading teams

Experience collaborating and communicating cross-functionally, building consensus and shaping/influencing opinion

Advanced in Microsoft Office suite of applications

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

Excellent written and verbal communication

Must have ability to obtain secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Ability to analyze a problems and recommend solutions

Experience utilizing continuous improvement and problem-solving methodologies and arriving on at effective solutions

Experience making data-based business decisions

Experience with FAR and DFAR requirements
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
