Job Summary:


Compass Point is looking for a Supply Chain Risk Management Subject Matter Expert to work at Fort Meade, MD.


Developing strategies and plans for integrating new Secure Supply Chain process and technologies into existing IT infrastructure, applications, and workflows, ensuring seamless compatibility and minimal disruption.


Responsibilities


Job Responsibilities:




  • Gathers initial requirements from stakeholders within the DoD for emerging technology solutions.


  • Conducts preliminary market research to identify potential vendors and solutions.


  • Researching and evaluating emerging technologies that could drive innovation within the project and making recommendations based on feasibility and potential impact.


  • Leads the development of prototypes or proof-of­ concept projects to demonstrate the viability and potential benefits of adopting emerging technologies.


  • Overseeing testing efforts to validate the functionality, performance, and security of emerging technologies, and coordinating with stakeholders to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.


  • Based on the feedback, make necessary improvements and refinements to the prototype.


  • Implements a pilot project/program to test the technology in a pre-production environment on a limited scale.


  • Supports the stakeholders with developing a draft implementation plan that includes for deployment procedures for rolling out the technology at scale.


  • Manages the logistics movement, distribution and storage of supplies and materials.


  • Plans routes, analyzes budgets, and processes shipments.


  • Designs and analyzes the logistics processes and operational solutions used in distributing those goods and services.


  • Identifies and evaluates the effectiveness of all aspects of methods of distribution with the goal of improving operational efficiency.


  • Advises management on logistics topics and proposes logistics solutions.


  • Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.


  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.


  • Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.


  • Typically requires BA and 8-10 years.




Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:




  • 5+ years of technical experience in supply Chain Risk Management.


  • 2+ Years of experience with Supply Chain Risk Management in the DoD Environment.




Clearance:




  • Interim Secret/Final Secret.
