Flight Test Instrumentation Labs & Procurement Manager - Level 5 - Military Veterans

This position is for the Manager of the Flight Test Instrumentation Labs and Procurement Team within the Test & Evaluation Directorate of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics based in Fort Worth, TX. This role is responsible for technical oversight of the Team as well as cost and schedule performance of assigned work-scope. Responsibilities for the Team include:

FTI Labs:
• Flight Test Instrumentation Lab: Accomplish FTI hardware acceptance, modification, system integration, checkout, trouble-shooting and repair
• Strain Gauge Lab: Strain Gauge installation, trouble-shooting, and repair

Procurement:
• Submittal, Coordination, and Tracking of Flight Test Instrumentation and Data Processing Procurement Requests
• Subcontract Management and Buyer Coordination
• Procurement Risk Identification and Mitigation
• Inventory Storage and Management
• Kitting

This position collaborates across multiple Instrumentation Engineering teams (F-35, IFG, ADP), Instrumentation Manufacturing and Fabrication Team, and Test Sites. The role will interface with Supply Chain Leadership, Program Management, Test Site Leadership, LM Aero Senior Leadership, and various other stakeholders.

The role is responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

A level 5 employee Typically has 14 - 20 years of professional experience.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
• Test Lab or Procurement Experience
• Technical Project Management experience
• Engineering/Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Instrumentation Test Lab Experience
• Procurement Experience for Instrumentation or other Development (non-production) environment
• Flight Test Experience
• New business proposal development experience
• Technical Leadership Experience
• Previous L-Coded Leadership Experience
• CAM or OBS Manager Experience (Earned Value Management)
• Program Experience and LOB Familiarity
• Experience effectively briefing Senior and Executive Level Leadership
• Excellent communication/coordination skills
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
