Role Description
As our Senior Product Architect, you will shape GFiber’s technical and product vision as an internet service provider (ISP) by researching and architecting Voice as a Service (VaaS), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Internet of Things (IoT), and other products. We view these products as value added services (VAS) to our network, allowing us to move faster, and providing greater stability to our customers. In your role, your understanding of Voice Protocols, technologies, AI/ML algorithms and IoT technologies in the ISP space will help define the technological road map that you will work with the Product teams to build and continue to evolve as you discover new technologies or methods that are coming out. Additionally, your ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure, and optimizing performance for maximum efficiency will be counted upon every day.
In this role, you'll:
- Define and maintain a detailed technology roadmap of Voice service, AI, ML, IoT, and other products, aligning it with the company's overall strategic goals while continuously evaluating and incorporating emerging technologies for the network.
- Design, develop, prototype, and document scalable, modular, and high-performance product architectures that integrate AI, ML, IoT, and VaaS seamlessly.
- Understand the telecom/ISP landscape and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation and revenue generation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to define technical requirements and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Use a product mindset to develop Value Added Services / products in AI/ML,NextGen Voice service, predictive analytics, IoT, Streaming platforms, and storage systems that provide insights and data that drive business decisions.
At a minimum we'd like you to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in architecting and developing ISP networks and systems.
- Experience in product development that focuses on Value Added Services / products in AI/ML,Voice as a Service, Predictive Analytics, IoT, Streaming platforms, Storage systems, etc.
- Experience in the creation and design of complex, scalable systems, platforms, and protocols (e.g., VAS, data analytics, and telecom network platforms) including the preparation of detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, and specifications.
It's preferred if you have:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related field or equivalent experience
- 12 years of experience in designing, implementing VAS , Voice services and Telecom products and systems
- Experience of working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Expertise in deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, reinforcement learning, and other AI/ML techniques.
- 5 years of experience in frameworks such as (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras) and programming languages/scripting tools (Python, Java, SQL).
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $185,000 - $203,000 + bonus + cash award + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
