Surgical Technology Clinical Adjunct | Iowa Western - Military Veterans

This position is responsible for conducting clinical sessions as assigned by the academic dean. Must evaluate and report student performances and progress in courses in accordance with college and division policies and procedures Must meet Minimum Faculty Standards for hire and adhere to college policies and procedures Organize and teach labs as assigned by the academic dean Complete required professional development and trainings Exhibit a positive and professional demeanor with all members of the college and community, contributing to a productive and growth-oriented work environment Promote, model, and enforce academic integrity Be available to answer student questions outside of class time (student conferences can be held on campus in a designated student conferencing space or via phone, web conferencing, or email) Help students achieve their educational and career goals Refer students to college resources Maintain confidentiality in accordance withFERPAand Title IX regulations Adhere to safety policies and procedures Associate degree in the discipline if considered terminal and 3000 hours of recent and relevant work experience Ability to pass a background check
