NYU Tel Aviv is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach a course on Physical Science: Energy and the Environment , under thesponsorship of New York University's College of Arts and Science Core Curriculum.The course would be taught in the Fall 2022 semester (September 1- December 14, 2022). The Core Curriculum of the College of Arts and Science provides a foundational academic experience of general education in the liberal arts for undergraduates at NYU. Physical Science: Energy and the Environment explores the scientific foundations of current energy and environmental issues and their implications for public policy. The course, designed for non-science majors, is divided into lecture and laboratory components, with the laboratory experiments are closely integrated with the lecture topics and provide hands-on explorations of central course themes. Qualified candidates should hold a PhD in Chemistry or related field,as well as experience teaching. A strong record of research is also preferred though not required.
