Clinical Research Coordinator | Yale University - Military Veterans

  1. Assumes primary responsibility for a program, service, activity, operation or function in an assigned area. Develops objectives, practice and procedure and identifies resources to ensure accomplishment of operational goals. 2. Coordinates day-to-day operations in order to achieve designated goals. Ensures effective management and leads the development and implementation of best practices. 3. Designs and implements quality control metrics to identify areas of risk. Analyzes, recommends, and implements strategic solutions to minimize risk. 4. Develops a variety of complex report and other written materials. 5. Provides guidance to and collaboration with internal and external partners as necessary. 6. Develops, oversees and monitors budgets. 7. Develops and maintains specialized training. 8. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skill/ability 1: Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures and knowledge of medical terminology, clinical medicine and clinical trials. Required Skill/ability 2: Detail-oriented and meticulous in all aspects of work. Strong follow-through skills and ability to proactively identify and solve problems with demonstrated initiative in imperative. Possess the ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and manage deadlines. Required Skill/ability 3: Outstanding professional and interpersonal communication skills with the patients, families as well as physicians/researchers. Required Skill/ability 4: Proven experience working well independently with minimal supervision, as well as in team environment. Required Skill/ability 5: Ability to be flexible, organized, detail-oriented and tenacious in follow-through. Preferred Education: Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a scientific, health related, or business administration program, preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with 3 years of clinical research experience which include one year of experience with clinical trials coordination. Work Week: Standard (M-F equal number of hours per day) Posting Position Title: Coordinator 4 University Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a scientific, health related, or business administration program, preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with 3 years of clinical research experience which include one year of experience with clinical trials coordination. Bachelor's Degree in related field and three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
